Today I spoke with RPM Seth to verify my account, he instructed me to go on the website and use the live chat support function. I was pretty weary at first because none of the other merge skins live support have ever worked, but RPM Jon picked up in a few seconds and helped me process my request. I sent in my ID and verification forms, and was verified in less than two hours. I honestly can't believe how fast their support is, and I was just really impressed with the whole operation. Thanks a lot guys.

RPM's customer service is the best there is. The live chat is running like 10 hours a day, plus you can email or PM Seth or Jon and always get a quick response. I got verified also in like 2 hours. I've been reading in the other skin forums about guys waiting weeks, months even to get verified.

I've also had real good support the last hour with trying to figure out this prepaid visa, but turns out the company only accepts US purchases. Bummer, nothing they could do about it though, take care! Hope all goes well.

Yeah, Jon and Seth are both great. RPM's customer support and promos are the main two reasons I joined the skin after Black Friday. And although the promos can be meh at times -- usually they're good -- the service has always been top notch. A little love for them:

RPM is one of the best for sure and their support is much more quicker than others.
It was already an established network so I doubt it would fail. Might not hit the numbers that network would want but I don't think it will fail.

The only problem I have with Merge is the huge restrictions they place on the skins. Why can't skins offer rake chases? I am not a big fan of rake races because you basically have to play high to get anything out of them. Merge bring back the rake chases.

I'm coming up on two hours since I sent in my stuff, hope I get verified soon too. But +1 for RPMJon and Seth being great help and the entire RPM support being great.

Have you chatted in with me directly about this? Verification is only taking around 30 minutes at this time if you chat in directly as opposed to emailing.

I'll add to this thread and say I've had nothing but great experiences with RPM's customer service thus far. I'm relatively new to RPM and Merge, but play higher stakes sng's so it was very important to me that I got my rakeback set up immediately. Jon got back to me in no time and everything's already all set up.

The great customer service is the #1 reason I joined RPM Poker after having go through Full Tilt Poker's which was one of the worst in the industry. RPMJon and RPMSeth have been very helpful, and I will always suggest RPM to other people.

Funny looks like the live shat worked for you. However after wasting almost an hour with trying to register and receiving multiple "page not found errors" the live chat will not work at all. I can't even verify my e-mail address to register for freerolls....

Live Chat is currently being fixed within the client. However, you can always access it through RPMPoker.com by clicking the green live chat button in the upper right hand corner.

You are living up to your rep just by replying so quick :-) I am pulling out of Lock and going to give RPM a shot. I haven't played on line in over a year (other than giving in to the Lock/Revolution hype on June 1) but your quick response gives me the warm and fuzzy. I swear to christ nothing can go right for on line poker. I waited to register for a freeroll until 2100. Now I see a message that says "down for maintenance. Poker service will be restored in 2 hours 10 min."Sick of trying. I guess I will wait for another 6 months in hopes of a better experience.

Why on earth would you wait 6 months? The scheduled upgrade has taken, like, a day longer than expected, but it's sure to be up and running tomorrow.

I had a good, albeit annoying, experience. Everything was verified lickety split, but there was some problems with my credit card because I had just ordered the Visa and only had the number, etc. at the time (bank was sending the card). I've since got a Visa and got all of that straightened, but wanted to play really bad and was really irritated.

Since then no problems, except I was super annoyed at how long it took to get the check (which never came, because I ultimately had to use the money in the check to buy back in they will not allow you to deposit if you have a pending check...). I wanted to get a check and cash it to show folks that you still get paid online. I guess with all of us getting burned on FT/Stars, it would be nice to have a little confidence that we'll get paid. Wish they would make us getting our money out easier. I think you'd bring A LOT more people back to the community. Just my two cents.


Now I'm a regular Sunday grinder contributing about $200 every week to the community (I have not been a winning player since Black Friday, but did have a really good week last week). I see a lot of regs, which is nice... I guess I'm rambling way outside of the original question.

^^ lol. Yeah I needed to rant. I haven't played on line for over a year and decided to give it a shot on Fiday June 1st after reading about Lock / Merge etc... I wasn't expecting anything like Stars/FT but it is almost impossible to have a decent evening of playing. Multiple bugs in software, networks shutting down for emergency maintenance etc... If sites can't even function on a resonable level then deposits/cashouts aren't going to be any better IMO. Just already frustrated and not worth my time.

Man, Jon and Seth are seriously the nuts as far as customer support goes. I've never seen a poker site answer questions directly in less than a minute.
