Just wondering what the most efficient way to spend VIP points are for a micro stakes player? Even though I'm not earning them very fast should I wait until the highest level possible? Also, redeeming VIP points for cash doesn't effect you clearing your deposit bonus right?

I've never really done any math on what is the best way to use your VIP points. I suppose if you were really good at tournaments, it would be in your best interest to use them as tournament buyins.

It probably all depends on what VIP level you are at, or what level you expect to be at. I played a ton of hands just to get VIP points to move up VIP levels. I think at one point I played 30k hands in two days or something along those lines. I was mostly just drinking and clicking buttons, lol.

You can get to gear 10 by mass tabling a mix of 5NL and 10NL. Getting to gear J is significantly harder. I don't think it is a stretch to say you will never get to the highest gear by playing microstakes.

Yea I thought I heard somewhere that getting to J before spending your VIP points was the best way to go so I'll probably go for that. I'll be 10-14 tabling 10NL so hopefully it won't take me to long lol. Just wondering, what level did you spend your VIP points and what was the exchange?

Save up and buy in to the biggest tourney possible. The one time you run crazy good might as well be for a big score.

yea but tourney buy in 10% rakeback, if that is goal convert to cash at 30% and buy in using converted cash.

Saving points to convert, I would spend 20k points on the T level, then save 30K for the J level. Then you will have to wait one month to spend the next patch of points, but you will get about max value. If you earn only 20k points in month I guess you can wait to J level spend 30k save 20k earn 20k spend 30k save 10k earn 20k spend 30k and then the last 10k save to Q level. That would be about max value and get your rakeback cash somewhat quickly.

I tried to build bankroll so waiting for T or J tier is suboptimal strategy even if I know that then will receive higher rakeback.
If you put cashback instantly to BR than you should play higher stakes earlier (hope so) and everything should go faster

I just wait for tier 8 and take cashback.

If you dont care for BR its better to wait for T, J tier but on micro it takes insane amount of time.
