[ANNOUNCEMENT] Poker Maximus III [ANNOUNCEMENT] Poker Maximus III

11-29-2012 , 12:38 AM
Hello,

This is an announcement to inform you that RPM Poker will not be participating in the Poker Maximus III tournament series. The poker client should reflect these changes shortly.

We truly apologize for the inconvenience this may cause some players, and we hope to have more information available in the near future.

RPM leaving Merge too? For the love of god DO NOT GO TO REVOLUTION!!!!!!!!!

My guess is WPN will be the landing place, at least that would be the presumption.

Such a joke. Will now just play the withdrawl game with RPM and when all my funds are off I am done with the site for good

No *****. I was building up VIP points to use in PM3, but now I want to know if I need to burn them all up before anything else happens.

I know it's still 5 hours until the start of PM 3 Event #1, but the PM 3 tournaments are all still listed in the lobby. I went ahead and registered for Event #1 to see if I could and was able to.

I don't know if they will be removing the tournaments at a later time or what is going to happen, but I figured I may as well see if it works out today.

I'm also very disappointed in RPM pulling out of the PM 3 tournaments, as they are the only skin I play on, and I was very excited about this tournament series. I was especially excited because of the speed of RPM US player withdrawals the past couple of weeks.

I wish RPM could be a little more open with its players on what is to be expected at this point.

Johnfr are they still listed in the client? I do find it hysterical to take a whole network, and a good chunk of $$$ away from a tourney series the night before
11-29-2012 , 05:34 PM
The tournaments are currently being removed from the lobby. We apologize for the inconvenience.

brutal

Atleast we still have a $200 "high roller" tourney thats pays a whopping 2500-3k for first -__-
11-29-2012 , 06:32 PM
I have to assume at this point that RPM won't be sticking around Merge much longer.

What you should apologize for is the poor communication. People want answers to what is going on and no one from RPM will speak.

im really starting to worry, and i got abig bankroll on here too. dunno what to do. IF they move where wil they go? hope whereever they are going will have p2p.
11-29-2012 , 08:05 PM
If they move I'd guess it'll be WPN and not only do they have P2P they have fast cash outs and good customer service and are making improvements daily.
11-29-2012 , 10:14 PM
This could be a big FU to merge for leaving them out of the cashier change. Doing it right before it starts will cause bigger overlays i would think.

Looks like all the PMIII events ran on RPM tonight and the low BI ones are still there. Could you all be a bit clearer about whether they're all being removed or not.

Cross-posting my comment from the NVG Thread

[As I mentioned in the original post in the RPM Forum] RPM hopes to have more information available in the near future for the community. RPM Poker has been and remains dedicated to the 2+2 community and loyal customers, and has always done its utmost to act in the best interests of the poker community at large even when it may not seem apparent.

Your understanding and continued patience is appreciated, and we apologize that we're unable to comment further at this time.

RPM Poker has officially opted out of the Poker Maximus, but it looks like there may have been a technical error on Merge Gaming's side that allowed these three tournaments to continue.

RPM has already followed up with Merge Gaming to have these tournaments - and all corresponding satellites - removed from the tournament schedule in efforts to avoid further confusion.

Fair enough Seth, but understand that we are going to be anxious when there are rumors that you are leaving Merge. This needs to be addressed quickly.
