I enjoy chess, but sometimes it feels like it's a poor choice to try to improve my chess skillz over playing poker. Anyone feel the same way? I'll continue playing, but by the time I reach 1700 rating in chess, I would have made a few thousand cheeseburgers in poker.

That's what I think, but I usually play it out and then draw the game due to lack of focus and sheer boredom.
