I was really clueless in this position with White. What would you guys play? Whats your plan here?

Looks like a tough position to play! I would probably play1.Ng2 and maybe try to route the knight to f5 via h4. If Black captures when the knight gets to f5, you would have the e4 square available for a knight at an opportune moment, although you would probably lose the f5 pawn, but maybe gain play for some compensation. Looks like you have to watch for threats of him playing Qf6 and than playing Bh6, or him simply playing fxg at a favorable moment and than attacking with his h pawn. Also he could play his pawn to f3 and then attack with his h pawn at a favorable moment.

I'm not very good and I can't see anything obvious so I'd probably play like a4. That pawn is just kind of sucky and it seems like it would be nice to grab some space on that side since the Kingside is very cramped. Though it takes away Na4 and the possible future move of Nb6. But maybe you can sneak a4-a5 in, too, first.

Or, just blow his mind with the unforeseen Qxg3#!!
