I am a class A USCF player.

On the white side I like the queens gambit...on the black I like the french and the QGD Tarrasch. With those openings in mind, I need suggestions for the following.

KID as white
Benko as white (g3 or artifical castling lines)
QID as white
Benoni as white

Thanks

Fellow class A player here, so take my suggestions with a grain of salt.

KID as white - I'm a huge fan of the Bayonet Attack, aka 9.b4. Do a database search for Kramnik's games in this line, he's the best in the world at it. He pretty much forced black to deviate from this move order (at the highest levels only, of course).

Benko as white - Play the g3 stuff with Rb1 on move 9 or 10. Sam Shankland made a great video on this move order on chess.com if you're a diamond member or can watch their videos.

QID as white - Can't help, I play into the Nimzo, sorry.

Benoni as white - Taimanov variation is the way to go. Leads to very sharp games but white is scoring really well in practice, in many lines +-. But the classical stuff is good too with the normal Nf3, h3, Bd3, etc. White is really solid there.

Bayonet is wayyy popular these days. By now every Black player should know a variety of defenses against it.

I'd go with g3 variation for White. JMHO.
