Young care free Anand would crush Gelfand 20 years ago. Now with both players longer in the tooth results even out more.
Novelities and prepared lines are harder to meet in shorter time controls....Lets see what they have up their sleeves.
For what its worth..the match should be declared a draw if its even after this last game. Rapid and knockout format is how the world got some scrub FIDE world champions in the late 90's early 00's
