This is a tough position for me to evaluate. White has the better pawn structure and nicely placed knight on c4, but black has two bishops and central control. I guess white can try to attack the c5 pawn and try to control the e-file, I don't see much else to do.

I think it would be tough to play black here. White doesn't have any weaknesses other than the c2 pawn which can only be attacked by one black piece. If I was black, I would certainly be floundering without a plan. I guess he'll just try to improve the placement of his pieces and avoid white's threats. I don't know.

I really don't know what to think.

Thank God they finally started the transmission of "Masterpieces of the Tretyakov Gallery". It was about time. After all, if I tune into the video transmission of the Chess World Championship it is obvious I want to see paintings and not two old guys sitting there moving pieces.

Seriously, I understand the commercial breaks but that art show is just ridiculous. I am tempted to blame FIDE but I suspect the organizers from Moscow are responsible...
