The more quiet the move, the more clever it leaves me feeling. It's usually a sign that I'm seeing the whole board. Then against worse players, if a pawn move loses, I've probably missed something obvious. It shows that I can't see the board because of the pieces.

The pieces do cover up a lot of the board, making it harder to see.
