I don't know if there's a better way to find post ID, but if you hit the Quote button, it shows the ID in the first portion of the quote tag. The post ID of the original post was 39711402, btw.
According to the coin flip call in the OP, yes, but it's up to the two of you if you want to restart, or just keep playing the game you already started.
I think that the determination of who gets white on an odd post and who gets white on an even post may be made by the OP. Essentially if you start the thread, you get to "call" the "coin flip" that the odd/even post number represents.
I'll play black, it's not as if there is anything on the line.
1.e4 c5 2.Nf3 d6
Spoiler:
So I used to play 2. ... Nc6 in order to make 3. c3 and 3. Bb5 somewhat less attractive, however I do not really like black's play in the classical sicilian after Bg5, Qd2, 0-0-0 and f3. So I'll try to aim for a Najdorf sicilian instead, which should be fine for black.
I like that Uitje wants to play a Najdorf. Sharp games are always fun to watch, and especially so since we have some really good Sicilian guys on this forum.
