a lot of that guy's videos are pretty awesome. i wish he actually did more gm game commentary because he's a lot more fun to listen to than some of the more stodgy guys like kingscrusher.

The automaticity of this is really impressive to me especially not having played chess in a couple of years.

What level of player is this in, say, ICC 3-minute pool?

I don't know what the ICC 3-min level would be, since that pool can be tough to predict. But the guy is an OTB National Master in the US. And he seems to be a good bullet player from what I can tell in that video.

Quite entertaining indeed, but its fairly obvious that a big part of his edge in these 1min bullet games comes from the chess client he uses. I didnt even know there were interfaces that allowed premoving several moves ahead.
I dont think youll learn much chess studying bullet games though.

He's playing on chesscube.com, everyone uses the same client.
