I'm a beginner-have been playing for two weeks. Live opponents estimated my strength at about 20 kyu last week. I would enjoy getting involved with something like this if it is possible to find other players that are learning. In the live club that I attended there was one 15 or so kyu player and then the next- best guy was 3 kyu.

Just started playing, head hurts a bit from all the reading!. But its looks like a real exciting game to play. Attack, defence and all sorts.

Understand so far about the very begining part of the game, why the stones are placed and not why they are placed on the edges etc - So much to learn thou!

I'm about 3k (SN is weirdchess on KGS). I don't play much nowadays but I enjoy watching high dans play and trying to figure out what the hell they're doing.
