We were actually trying to analyze that game and see if 4 pawns vs. 2 rooks (take the Knight off the board) is enough. It juuust isn't. (Mostly because the K is too close.)

Kind of ironic. At my coach's behest I'm quite rapidly integrating main line theory into pretty much every part of my repertoire, and I'm getting slaughtered by just terrible players in the process of doing so as they insta whip out 20+ GM quality moves. I'm sure it's for the best in the long run, but geeze - it sure beats down the ego in the short term.

I'm sure to be more modest after the process..... HAH
