This came from another nimzo indian. I think this position is important since it illustrates another very common theme. It also shows that things can come alive very quickly, even in basic looking positions when you're still effectively in the opening.

Spoiler:
... Bxf2+; Kxf2 Qb6+; Ke1 Ne3 wins immediately?
All I see for white is Qa4+ Bd7 and nowhere to put the queen that doesn't allow Nxg2+ and Ne3+ to follow
Qb3 is worse as Qxb3 axb3 Nc2+ just wins material

Yip!

Spoiler:
White does have a defensive resource in 4. Nc4 but yeah, things aren't pretty. And he had such a normal looking position before all this!

Spoiler:
I noticed that just after you posted, but before I read it. I guess there is nothing too interesting for white after just 4... Nxc4 since he can't castle and is a clear pawn down?

Nice tactic, Dire. I hope you were on the black side

Spoiler:
I wanted to make sure I wasn't overlooking some defensive resource and put this in Rybka. 1 ... Bxf2+ 2. Kxf2 Qb6+ 3. Ke1 Ne3 4. Nc4 Nxc4 5. Qd4! Qxd4 6. Nxd4 0-0 7. b3 Ne5 8. Bf4 = (-0.03) Rybka seems to think the 2 bishops and lead in development are enough comp for the pawn. Not sure I believe that, but thought that was interesting. Definitely very good practical chances for black since so many people can't really make use of 2 bishops.
