It plays tricky but dubious opening lines.

Things were pretty much fine for the chess.com engine after 12. ... Qd7, but the next three moves shifted the evaluation to -3.5, then -12, then #1, lol. Can't offer tactical shots to Houdini and get away with it

[ ] Houdini is legit engine and not just Rybka sped up x1000

lol, but really... Have you seen the source code for Houdini? I downloaded it and can't play it because it's some wierd file after I open the zip file... maybe it's because I haven't bought winzip or something...not sure... anyway the source code is like 1000 pages long or something. On the website it makes it out like just 1 guy has been working on it...is this true? If so, that's just insane...

As far as I know Houdini isn't open-source, and even if it was you wouldn't be able to view the source code from the regular download. When you extract the ZIP file what you have is the already compiled version of the program in UCI format (to be imported into a chess GUI of some kind, and used there). Are you just trying to open the UCI file or something? I'm pretty sure what you're seeing is just gobbledygook from trying to open a file in the wrong way, and isn't actually the source code...
