Heh. Or 1...e5, for that matter. I'm with TexAg06 on this one, though! Although the commentary by the peanut gallery on the e4 openings has been helpful and great in the other games.
yeah i'm constantly worried that i'm going down some known losing path or getting laughed at by the assembled heavyweight kiebitzes in my game. The malkovich game paranoia is worse than i thought.
d4 games used to be the bane of my existence. i started playing nimzos when i was in high school and had a whopping 1100 rating and i don't think i won a single game as black against d4 for 2 years. eventually as i started to get better i switched to the grunfeld, looking for something a little more open and dynamic than most of the nimzo lines. eventually i got kinda tired of seeing 4. Bf4 and 4. e3 against that, so i switched again to the semi-slav.
