invited. The team games are under "team games" in the group

There are two waiting to start right now.

Re: 2+2 Chess Team (chess.com)

i really like chess.com, but now that i'm getting stronger opponents i start to feel that the anti-computer-rule (which is fine imo for middle-and endgames) leads to strange things.

For example, i really like to play mainstream openings. But with databases allowed, but engines disallowed, it often leads to "book-wars" because for a mere expert-level player like me it feels strange to try and improve on computer-assisted GM analysis without using an engine.

Re: 2+2 Chess Team (chess.com)

Just cancelled one of the upcoming matches - opponent had 4 players after several weeks. Sent out a replacement challenge and also started a "speed" game (24hrs per move). I'll probably start the 24hr one relatively quickly as it's 1-10 players limit.

Re: 2+2 Chess Team (chess.com)

Woot! Not only did I just pick up my highest rated chess.com scalp to date, but I did it in a 2+2 team match!

Yay for opponents thinking they can get away with something dubious like Bxf7 just because I'm rated lower than they are, lol. Once I found Kg8 the game basically played itself
