Looking to play. Could I get a re-invite? (naluneabezshapki)

And where do i find the team games?

invited. The team games are under "team games" in the group

There are two waiting to start right now.

i really like chess.com, but now that i'm getting stronger opponents i start to feel that the anti-computer-rule (which is fine imo for middle-and endgames) leads to strange things.

For example, i really like to play mainstream openings. But with databases allowed, but engines disallowed, it often leads to "book-wars" because for a mere expert-level player like me it feels strange to try and improve on computer-assisted GM analysis without using an engine.

Just cancelled one of the upcoming matches - opponent had 4 players after several weeks. Sent out a replacement challenge and also started a "speed" game (24hrs per move). I'll probably start the 24hr one relatively quickly as it's 1-10 players limit.

Woot! Not only did I just pick up my highest rated chess.com scalp to date, but I did it in a 2+2 team match!

Yay for opponents thinking they can get away with something dubious like Bxf7 just because I'm rated lower than they are, lol. Once I found Kg8 the game basically played itself

They should show "My Open Team Matches" somewhere where it's easily accessible. Currently if you don't sign up when messaged you have to jump through hoops to find the team matches again (I'd make a suggestion if I wasn't lazy, it's also possible such a feature already exists)

9.5/10 for round 1 in my first chess.com tourney

i lost one but got my opponent banned for cheating for that. It was so blatantly obvious he had like 52/52 and never failed to make the first move the engine suggests, even in totally won positions.

Yeah sometimes they take forever. I've gotten good at spending 2 seconds per move and blundering. Need to stop that :/

Guess I missed this when you posted it. lol

I'm great at spending an hour on a move and still making an extremely stupid blunder. I'd probably feel better if I only spent 2 seconds and did it.

On another note, any chance we can get another 1 day per move tourney going? I know some people don't like them, or find them hard to participate in, but it's all I do and I'm enjoying the current one. Finding it fun keeping an eye on the other games and seeing how everyone else is doing. Doesn't need to be while the current one is going on, but I'd love to see another one at some point.
