That's what I figure, but I've never tried vote chess before so I don't know exactly how it works. Looks fun though!

One of my games is already practically over in match 7:


Here i played Bc5-b6 and then he shocked me with Rxd5??. Didn't see that coming, but fortunately it just drops the rook because of ...Nb4. phew.

Hi Cadaz,

I just played a few live games on chess.com and boosted my rating from 1200 (wtf) to around 1500 there (yay!). When I was active, I had a USCF rating of around 2300, so I may win a couple of games for the team. I do not know how that is supposed to work, but invite me or something, I guess. My handle is SecoM.

See who registers for the opponents. They have some pretty strong players.

The number of players is set to 10+ so we can have as many of ours as we want. Half of our players don't register for matches so..

i like chess.com and i'm thinking of subscribing there. Has anyone of you a premium acc? Are the video lessons worth the additional $$ compared to a normal account? I'm rated around 2150 FIDE and are currently working more on my chess than usual (stopped playing poker lol) and would have time to study the material on offer closely.

Yeah I've got a membership. The videos are pretty good imo. Maybe some would be a bit basic for you hard to say. Maybe ykw or smilingbill can comment more on how it suits higher rated players. Chess mentor is the main value of the diamond membership though imo.

Not sure how it compares to say icc

In my round 7 game as black, my 1971 rated opponent appears to be letting me trade a bishop for his entire kingside pawn structure. I'm not sure why he's allowing it, but I'm not complaining

I've never beaten anyone higher than 1867 on this site before, so hopefully I can convert what appears at this point to be a nice advantage...

Edit: Or of course I might just be completely missing something...

someone should tell the guys on chess.com where the resign button is, it's a bit tedious to play out correspondence games two pieces up in the endgame.
