GNU Question

I started using GNU for game analysis, and was wondering if its possible with the program to REPLAY an analysed game?

I find it difficult for me to learn by going through each error, looking at it, and looking and thinking about the best move, then moving on to the next one. It is difficult for the information to stick with me.

What would suit my learning process more is if the game could be replayed, over and over, and when that particular error came up I would be able to recognize it and chose the correct move. Obviously this would change all future rolls/positions once a different one was taken, but can you have the computer replay the games with the same rolls without any labor intensive manual input?

Re: GNU Question

I'd use another software for practice, but that's only my opinion.

Re: GNU Question

Before you start a game go to options dice and set the random number seed to any number you like. Make a note of that number. When you want to replay that same sequence of rolls restart gnu and enter the same seed number, it will then give you the same sequence of rolls.

You are correct that once you make a different play the positions will change, however the rolls will not change so you will be playing the same sequence of rolls from a different position.
