In match to 7 you leading in post -crawford 6-5. So no matter what roll is your opponent will duoble you in first roll. I never found any information when to take this cube or drop.

You drop if opponent starts the game and rolls 3-1, 6-1, or 4-2 but should you drop when he rolls 5-2, or 2-1 ?

And when you start the game should you take cube in any roll or drop for bad roll and what are rolls you take or drop ?

If you drop the cube, and your opponent is equal to you in ability, you'll theoretically be 50-50 to win the match. So you should drop if the opening sequence (his roll, then your roll) made him a favorite on roll, but take if it made you a favorite.

This is pretty easy if something constructive happens quickly. For instance,

> if he makes a point and you don't, and he's on roll, he's a favorite.

> if he leaves a blot and you hit it, you're a favorite.

> if he creates builders and you create builders, he'll be a favorite.

Most sequences are easy to decide but there are a few tricky ones. Post a couple of sequences that look interesting and we can all post some comments.
