Recently people have post seemingly ordinary positions featuring shocking bot play.
Here is another one that i kept in my folder and simply forgot. Red to play 41:

Code:
GnuBG ID: s+0MABLMe8AAHA:UQnmADAAEAAA

gnu 2ply eval and rollouts with different settings agree on the top move.

Against a weak player I bury a checker onto the 1 and stay in the match, against someone good probably double hit and pray.

Obviously huge change in the volatility of the moves but don't look that much different from a match equity point of view imo. Hoping the bot says its something crazy like breaking the outfield anchor

I think 6/2* 5/4* is a very high volatility play, which could be decisive for the entire match both ways at this score already. White's probability of hitting is 50+%, but the cube will be very powerful in red's possession. And the two point is still the two point.

the cube is already on red's side. at this score i would have tried hard to avoid a gammon from white. Nevertheless 6/2* 5/4* is the top move!!!
Wamy: 13/9 5/4* ranks in 2nd place in rollouts. Red spreads blots everywhere. Others moves are blunders.
