Best place to play? Best place to play?

Hi all,
I'm fairly new to backgammon (about a year) but love it and want to play more. I taught myself the game and play mostly vs both the computer and online opponents on my ipad using the FaceMe BG app in gamecenter. It's not bad but I'm looking for more and was hoping folks here could point me in the best direction as to where I can find good games. I think' I'm OK - I understand basic and most advanced strategies now and really want to play more and get better.

i wouldn't mind dabbling in real money games at low amounts just to see where I stand, but that's not really what I'm looking for. Is there either an app for iOS that you all suggest or a website or download? I have done google searches and the like and not found much that I am pleased with.

Thanks!

Backgammon NJ for ios is $8 and worth every cent. And playing for money online is questionable. Unlike poker, computer programs will crush you.

I'll second the post above. Don't play for money online. Use free online play as a training ground for live tournaments and cash games.

There are a couple clubs in the area. One meets in Ballston every Monday night. PM me for details.
