Just wondering if anyone knows if there are any regular casual/small stake bg groups in NOLA? There's the new orleans backgammon club which has a weekly wednesday tourney at flora's, but I was wondering if anyone knew of anything more regular or haunts where BG players like to hang out.

If there is, I expect that some people at the Wednesday tournament would know about it.

Also, weekly isn't regular enough? You must have a lot of free time

Tulane University used to have a chess and backgammon club, though as of 2013 when I graduated, I was (literally) the only backgammon player left :/

That being said, I've been told the weekly at Flora's is pretty good. A regular group, and some strong play.

I do this week since I'm on vacation

Ended up playing on Wed, and had a fantastic time (came in second too!)
