I hope that there can be quite a few posts on this position. I found it extremely tough to make a decision, but finally decided on 24/18, 8/5, 4/1. I was not sure of it but in the end felt that it was the best.

Thanks in advance

Hi,

you're right it's a tough decision.

I wouldn't throw away any structure if i were you, that's why i think 8/5 is too loose.
I would play 24/21(2), giving yourself a good anchor and taking his 22 and 23-points out of play.
4x1 is good, it gives you a nice chance for a switch to a blitz, while duplicating his 1's.
The last three: 13/10,

greetings k.

I wouldn't hit here for sure. Even for money, I think the best play to go for the gammon is 8/2 (2) (though I'm not 100% sure on that play).

Here at DMP I would just play 24/18 (2) and try to hopefully bring it home with red on the bar.

I'll treat it as DMP since it seems to be a 1-point match.

Therefore, I don't necessarily want to attack him and close him out (because it might not be the easiest way to win a single point). I think that priming him and running might be the best way.

24/21(2) 13/7

Run 24/18 (2). Just get your last 3 guys past the midpoint and you win ~85% even if he anchors, and if you have to leave a shot, you want to do it ASAP while his board is still questionable. Hitting loose just gives him outs, and making the 2 is hurting your flexibility for no real gain.
