Hi!

With the latest additions of a lot of matches from Carolina Invitational the number of matches in the Backgammon Studio database has now reached 4800!



Pretty sweet if you ask me! :-)

And the number of matches where the match video is known isn't too bad either:



This will obviously never be complete since all match videos aren't uploaded to youtube (Would have been sweet if they were!).

Earlier I created a section with tournaments sorted on the number of matches found in the database (in Matches/Tournaments):



Nordic Open is the reigning Tournament champ! :-)

But I suspect it might be overtaken soon by the "Backgammon Masters Series UK" as they have only been around for a couple of years and has managed to generate a huge amount of matches already!

It is also interesting to watch as the Carolina Invitational transcription work is still ongoing and is soon likely to overtake Texas Open.

I have also added links to the tournament pages where I have been able to locate it. If you spot a tournament that you know has a homepage do tell!

Would you like your tournament to figure a little bit higher up on this list? Please send me the matches you have from the tournament and you could get lucky! :-)

There are some issues with matches which haven't been placed in the right tournament possibly because of lacking information in the match file. If you come across a match which should belong in a different tournament let me know and I'll fix it. The 'unsorted' is a good place to start...
