Jason Lee posted this announcement at BgOnline today:
Hello Backgammon Fans --
The
3rd Capital Classic from Herndon, Virginia gets underway on Friday, February 20, with side events beginning at 11:30 a.m. The main tournament begins Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Barry Silliman is the Big Boss, and I'll be one of his minions getting stuff done.
Technology permitting, I expect to run a dual stream starting on Friday morning, and running all through the final events on Sunday. I will also stream the lecture match between Ed O'Laughlin and Ray Fogerlund on Sunday at 9:00 a.m.
The streams will be available at:
http://usbgf.org/stream/
and
http://usbgf.org/stream2/
In addition, an army of dedicated volunteers is standing by, ready to transcribe matches, which I will make available to all. It is never too late to join the transcription crew. I'll probably do what MishyPoo has done, and make a Dropbox folder that I'll add files to as they come in.
All times are Eastern Standard Time = UTC-5:

This is shaping up to be a great tournament with a terrific turnout. I hope to see you all there, and if you can't make it, then check out the streaming.
