Though if you're not just an angry atheist, would you care to state what you believe in? Such as... the Trinity, Jesus being God and man (you obviously don't, so which is he),and Jesus's resurrection. And do you believe in the Bible as divinely inspired?
The K J Bible helped me quite a bit. It is good for thought but should not be read literally or taken too seriously.
If it were the true word of God, do you think that God would begin His book with talking animals, staffs that turn into snakes, water walking and end it with a seven headed monster?
If you believe that it is truly the words of God then you idol worship your book when even it tells you that God's words are written on the hearts of men.
I call myself a Deist as my closest label and in that sense am a religionist like yourself but thanks to my apotheosis or rapprochement to the Godhead confirmed that my reading of scripture is right as compared to literalists.
My Godhead is not the God you believe in though.
If you can lose your belief in fantasy then we can proceed and progress. If not, you will eventually tell me to turn or burn because you cannot convert me.
The Bible must be judged on it's morals and these are not based on fantasy but on reality. The key to understanding your Word is Genesis and if you cannot leave the garden of Eden seeing both God and man as winners, no fall, then you cannot understand the rest.
If you are a literalist, and you are then if you can believe these, and apply them to A & E and see that Eve did the right thing, then we have a chance.
Deuteronomy 32:4
He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.
Matthew 7:18
A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
