I was wondering if you peoples would like to speculate about what Jesus would be like if he came back to earth, mainly because I think it could be fun, not really looking for a super argumentative thread. For this exercise you have to make a few (possibly outrageuos) assumptions:

1. Jesus comes back as a person, like he was in biblical times
2. Jesus really was god
3. He comes back to America, in 2012
4. You're willing to speculate about what kind of actions he might or might not take regardless of whether you think it's sacrilege or not


ok so what kind of things would he do? would he heal people? would he reveal the future? what parts of america would he go to. Would he eat fast food? Would he speak on tv or would he be low key? Would he go to the Rocky mountains? What would he think about cars and planes?

I think most people would be surprised that he wasn't fair skinned and didn't speak English....

I like this kind of post as long as it doesn't start an argument where people are like jesus was white/ jesus was black jesus was a socialist/ jesus was a capitalist, etc. I envision this thread to be a place where people can post freely about how they think jesus would be like.

Of course, I can certainly understand that desire. I think its safe to say that, being born in the middle east, Jesus would have been middle eastern in appearance, as well as lacking the ability to speak English. Hopefully no one else will argue this so your thread's integrity is upheald

If Jesus came back he would be a double zombie. The ultimate threat.

lol.... I've seen a lot of "Jesus is coming back and he's pissed" cartoons, but this is the first one I've ever actually laughed out loud at.

If you're going to go sacrilege, go all the way.

His ideas would be considered a "threat to US national security". He'd be labeled a "terrorist" and thrown in Gitmo.

And the mainstream media would convince everyone that he really was a terrorist.

A possible story of Jesus's travels in America.

During Jesus's travels in America he met two men. "What do you want with us, Son of God?'" the men shouted. "Have you come here to torture us before the appointed time?"

Nearby a herd of pigs where grazing near a lake. Jesus turned to the men and looked down at them with pity. "May your demons be sent into this herd of pigs" he shouted. Jesus turned towards the herd of pigs, and ran at them screaming, shouting and waving his hand in the air. And the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake and died in the water.

Those tending the pigs ran off, went into the town and reported all this to the police. While Jesus's followers praised God "You truly are the Son of God" they rejoiced.

I think the hipsters looking like Jesus thing doesn't mean Jesus would look like a hipster. He'd look like a bum, or a super hippy.

Whatever a Jewish rabbi looked like then, that is probably what Jesus looked like.

But we all know Jesus enjoys a good PBR, that would put him over the top
