But you make it known in here that you are a former Christian,

in here to believe those claims.

I do believe their claims, if skeptically. I never stated otherwise. I simply pointed out that it was humorous that you were trying to contradict Husker by providing evidence that he (apparently) didn't consider valid and had already dismissed.*

*Assuming the 'he' was in fact McGrath.

Looks like I need to educate you yet again. But, actually we both
know which definition I was speaking of, now don't we?

Humorous only if you have no clue what a faulty antecedent is.

Read jiddhu krishnamurti, his vids are on you tube and his writings aren't hard to find. Bruce lee modeled his martial art after JK's teachings. He will suggest you completely unlearn everything and then look at the world.

Wow.

I would be willing to give you 100-to-1 that Husker was referring to McGrath.

I'm glad you agree, its a matter of consistency. So, would you agree then, that the belief that Hitler most likely believed that Christ rose from the dead makes him a Christian?

As far as the "I used to be an atheist" tag-line, you must surely recognise that this gets used by apologists in the sense of "I can help to change your extreme views!" (e.g. Kirk Cameron's lol "devoutness" to atheism, as already mentioned).

It seems to me that apologists who use this tag-line are referring to some inconsequential period in their life of either apatheism, or more likely cultural-Christianity (brought up Christian, but didn't think much about the details, seeing as they were probably around 12-years old at that point).

What would be a fascinating read would be someone that was already known to be an atheist before their conversion (someone level-headed, which probably disqualifies the litigious-happy Patrick Greene, who finally converted to Christianity after a church donated some money for a medical procedure...he may have already converted back by the time you read this).

Can you explain to me how someone could murder millions and yet still justifiably be in line with a belief of non-violent opposition, love your neighbor as yourself, pray for those who persecute you, and die to self?

Also, I love how fundy-atheists try to front-load arguments and think no one is going to notice.

Quite frankly, anyone who thinks Hitler adhered to Christian doctrine is an idiot.

Re: What should I read next?

Before you get all sommerset-ish on me and blah blah about doggg the hypocrite. I don't say any of that as a christian. As a person of common sensibility and common sense I say these things.

In 20 years of active opposition to christianity and religion, I never once linked Christianity and Hitler. Not once.

Because it is downright stupid. Such sensationalistic, outlandish, and provocative associations just marks one for incredulity.

Like people who literally (like a crazed stalker) add a post to my every post within 30 seconds of my posting, even though I have notified them that I have added them to my ignore list. Logic and reason will not effect such a puerile character. That's why they are on the list to begin with.

Puhhlease, is this the best you can come up with?

As if by posting something as asinine as this, you are actually
interested in intelligent discourse?
