Pletho, your notion of the reader's sprit is appreciable - like going into a movie deciding you are going to hate it, you find things to hate.

Funny thing beliefs and knowledge. We are supposed to use them, simply, as a guide. Instead, we make intricate models. We write odious scriptures and philosophies. We canonize all of the resulting tomes.

Tiny little worlds of perceived safety are created. Groups of people chanting the same mantras gather. Those outside the little worlds, often in their own tiny worlds, are thought to be blasphemers, wrong, worthy of pity and derision.

When all along, the simple truth is...Being is always, always has been, always will be.

Why oh why do we insist that there has to have been a beginning, and that there will be an end. Such silliness. Tis just the human condition's need to put things into little boxes, tie it up in a pretty green ribbon and say "There, see how nice and orderly that is, must be true."

Being is always, always has been, always will be.

1. What is "being?"

2. How do you know it "always has been?"

3. How do you know it "always will be?"

I look forward to learning more about this.

Without wishing to.jump.om someone else's argument, but a fundamental point from which the big bang theory is derived is that another big bang was the creation of time...before that there was no time, and so existence is impossible. Thus it always has been and always will be is.simple.enough to derive based on the creation of timw ar some point....equally if we 'enter' a black hole time ceases to exist, and as such we no longer exist, because we are no.longer transient through time.

As for what 'being' is....I'll leave the philosophers to decide....

In one hand: any theory or belief that states "There was nothing, then there was the big bang or god," is first in line for producing proof of what nothing was/is.

In the other hand: we know that this existence we experience is something. What is debatable, but IT clearly IS.

Not being a scientist, 'D' in most elementary science classes, I cannot explain my own theory through science or math. Not proud or delusional about my own personal areas of strength and weakness.

What I do know. No one has ever successfully defined/proven nothing or the absence of "stuff."

So, until you or someone else finds definitive proof that there was nothing, anywhere, anytime, and can definitively describe nothing, I will take a mulligan.

The truth is so obvious you don't even bother to look for it. You don't exist. There's experience and there's perception, really there's just awareness but it manifests as experience and perception. Beyond that, nothing exists. There is no thing/person/entity that actually experiences anything. There is simply experience which manifests spontaneously out of NO THING, which is your true nature....abstraction, thought, idea, NO THING, pure free flowing energy that perceives itself simply for the sake of the experience alone with no gain or loss in mind. We lose sight of this in life bc society brainwashes us.

All of this is blatantly obvious to us throughout our entire life and is the TRUTH that is staring us in the face but the human condition is that we're all too scared to look at the TRUTH.

You're alive having an experience in which you know 100% for sure you're going to die and have to let go of the entire experience, but as humans we attempt to hold onto the experience itself as our reality rather than the feeling of pure awareness/existence as our reality and the experience as a conditional passing that takes place in the reality of existence. Society convinces you to spend your entire life looking at the finger pointing to the moon rather than the moon itself. Then if you're lucky you lay on your deathbed and figure out you've been duped and come into your next life with more awareness about who you actually are.
