It proves he knows how to keep people focused on him mentally. That's how revelation/realization occurs.

You should read my William Law link. If you wiki him then scroll to the bottom to read his Spirit of Prayer essays.

The spirit is trying to transcend the flesh.

That's why Christianity is different from Judaism and Islam. The Jews were looking for a material kingdom and Messiah. Islam is looking for virgins.

And the answer is not because women are inferior but because of the way the carnal mind works and the male carnal mind in particular.

Men are made to be particularly visual creatures and if a woman gets up to present the Gospel men lose their mental focus on God and start to dabble in more carnal ideas like "I wish that woman would shut up but she sure has a nice azz", etc., etc.

So yes the Gospel proves ID. It knows exactly how the carnal, unsaved mind, reacts.
My sister is a member of a NLP Group. When she told me that men and women do meditate in the same room, I told her that this meditation is of no use. Ofc she was not happy about my words and said the usual modern and empty phrases.
The truth is: praying and meditating doesn't work when women and men are in the same room. And whoever says that this is for him or her no problem, he or she is just lying.
(And most of those who visit Yoga and meditaion courses, they are ab initio singles looking for a partner or they are looking for new lovers)

Bisexuals however could be a problem.

So far the only theist who is agreeing with Splendour is a Muslim.

I don't know anything about prayer, but meditation can certainly be done with both sexes in the room.

He's just showing the range of opinion on this subject.

If there were a bunch of women posting on here and you reminded them about how they felt walking passed a group of construction workers then they might agree with me.

What an incredibly sexist statement.

Do you really think putting all the gay men in a single room would lead to less sexual tension?

He lives in Iran, so it's quite possible what he's saying is true where he's from.

Actually, it's a moot question. They hang the gheys in Iran.

Oh and to elaborate on this theme women play off it knowingly and unknowingly all the time. Some of the more knowledgable: Carmen Electra, Brittany Spears, Madonna, Pamela Anderson, etc.

They just amp that "power" outside of church.

so has splendour finally completely lost her mind? or did she finally just go too far and reveal that she is an atheist troll?

Funny that the one guy who agrees with you is a guy from a region of the world where women are horribly oppressed.

Do you believe that men and women are incapable of dealing with each other with dignity and respect?

Oh, I thought we were talking about making the main room cleaner for the elite.

He's just given the other end of the spectrum that's even more conservative than mine.

You have on your rose colored liberal glasses today and don't feel like reading a spade for a spade.

Women have power both consciously and unconsciously.

And yes people can deal respectfully with each other but can't God anticipate cultural differences? He's only wrong if you view him from current cultural standards.

i don't know, but this has to be the last straw, no?

I don't know. Nor do I ever expect to know why God does things unless either a) I find where the Bible explains it or b) God tells me Himself, neither of which is the case in this instance.

Well in addition to sexism I think you see it in psychology.

Men are particularly dependent on older men to role model off of.

God never explains this though because he expects us to revere him for who he is and follow him but there are a few historical exceptions to this rule.

If you think about it though there are answers other than all Christians are women oppressors.
