No joke dude its called the freedom of speech in the America. I never said those kind of jokes weren't funny. It's when those jokes are directed AT someone as an insult that they are "insulting". Kind of like the N word is funny in Blazing Saddles. It's not funny when it's used in an insulting manner. I don't think the police officers in the civil rights movement that were fire hosing African-Americans were using it to be funny; Mel Brooks was.

And the only thing that was directed at Bobo was the 'out of place' bit, the BLT in a Mosque was merely an example of something that would be out of place, and not directed at Bobo because he is neither a muslim, a mosque or a BLT.

The first 2 are insulting to Muslims, the last one isn't (or shouldn't be). The last does not cast any aspersions against Islam or Muslims or the fact that they don't eat pork. It is a factual simile (albeit an amusing one due to the juxtaposition).

The BLT comment is an insult to muslims because Islam and its beliefs are something which muslims generally regard as not fodder for jokes.
