September 29th is the first day of the Feast of Trumpets or also known as Rosh Hashanah. The Feast of Trumpets happens on the "new moon", which is 29.5 days after the last one, meaning it might occur on the 29th or 30th day, nobody knows for sure. "Of that day or hour no man knows" is an expression referring to this feast. In Matthew 25:13, Jesus says, "Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh". He could have been saying that he would be coming on the Feast of Trumpets. The Feast of Trumpets is also known as the Wedding of the Messiah, and the Church is the Bride of Christ, and the rapture is when the Church is caught up to heaven to be wed with Christ

There are 7 Jewish Feasts and the Feast of Trumpets is the 5th. The first is Passover and this was when Jesus was crucified. The next is the feast of Unleavened Bread, which was fulfilled by Jesus when His body was in the grave during the first days of this feast (also see John 6:35). First fruits is the 3rd feast and this was fulfilled by Jesus when he was resurrected on this very day (see 1 Corinthians 15:20, Paul says Jesus became the first fruits of them that slept). The 4th feast is Pentecost, which was fulfilled in Acts chapter 2 when the holy spirit was given to Peter and his disciples on the day of Pentecost and this is the period that we are still living in. So the first four Jewish feasts were all fulfilled by Jesus on there appointed feast days, leaving the next fulfillment on the feast of trumpets and the rapture of the body of Christ.

So now the question is why the feast of trumpets in 2011? Israel was revived as a nation in the year 1948 and this was the beginning of a new generation. A generation in the bible is described as 70 years (Psalm 90:10). In Matthew 24:34 Jesus says:

"Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled"

He was talking about the signs of the end times in this chapter and could have been referring to the generation from 1948-2018, meaning the tribulation would begin in 2011 (and also the rapture). Also, the signs that Jesus speaks of in Matthew 24 have all already began (famines, pestilence, nation rising vs nation etc).

The most important thing to look at in the chart is that a lunar tetrad takes place in 2014 and 2015, which could make the half point of the tribulation and the abomination of desolation talked about by the prophet Daniel. The last time that a lunar tetrad occured was in in 1967/68 when Israel took over Jerusalem and 1949/50 (Israel was declared a nation in 1948 but fought for one year after that) when the Jewish nation of Israel was established. The last time it happened before that was 1493/94, a year after the Jews were thrown out of Spain.

Other current signs in the sky to look for is the much talked about "Comet" Elenin. Some people say its a dwarf star or planet, I have no clue. On any note, nasa has confirmed that the comet has a coma of 200,000 kms (about 125,000 miles) which is bigger than Jupiter. Now you can do your own research on the comet, but whenever it aligns with the sun and earth there has been increased seismic activity, such as the 8.8 in Chile in 2010, the 7.1 in Christ Church New Zealand in 2010, and the Japan earthquake on March 11, 2011 that was 9.0.

Anyways, the next date for Elenin to align with the sun and the earth is around September 27-30th. The difference is this time it will be between the sun and the earth and could cause 3 days of darkness because of its size. In Revelation 6:12 John says:

"And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood"

Some bible scholars believe that when Jesus died there was a great earthquake and that the same will happen when He returns.

Something else that's happening in late September is that the Palestinians will go to the UN to place a bid for statehood. Most likely they will try and make Israel go back to its 1967 borders and separate God's land. Zechariah 12 talks about this and verse 9 says:

"And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem."

This shows that God's wrath will begin and many believe that once the land of Israel is taken away the tribulation will begin. There is a lot that I left out because I didn't want to make this too long, but just wanted to leave an outline and hope that people search for the truth themselves.

I truly believe that the end is near and its time for us to repent and receive Jesus as our Savior. You don't want to go through the tribulation, but if you do...remember to endure to the end and receive the Lord of Lords into your heart. Jesus is the only Way, God Bless

That generation passed away almost 2,000 years ago. Therefore, all those thing have already been fulfilled.

Also in Revelation, John says when it will happen:

Revelation 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:

Revelation 1:3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

Revelation 22:6 And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.

Revelation 22:10 And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.

If they do, they are probably so crazy and invested into this belief, that they won't come to their senses. Look at the May rapture date thing.

Most likely, though some "rapture readies" just believed what others told them without thinking about it or considering anything else. Part of the human condition.

Please read the op and not just the title. That verse was the first thing I brought up because it's possible that we have misinterpreted what Jesus was saying

That is merely one end times scripture. How are you explaining away numerous others that affirm that no one will know the time?

1 Thessalonians 5

This scripture talks about a woman being in travail like Revelation chapter 12 does also. The interesting thing about this is that the description of revelation chapter 12 that John gives will take place on the Feast of Trumpets this year.

1And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:

2And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.

3And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.

4And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.

5And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

Why are a few (and I mean a few only) Christians such attention whores?? And its almost always this topic. The "rapture" was invented in 19th Century England it has no bible reference at all, just after the fact interps of scripture by people like OP.
