The 3 together told me that Hawking thinks probability is relevant to these questions - which is contrary to what many skeptics say about, for instance, fine tuning. Not to mention that many skeptics also claim they think life was inevitable.
Edit: BTW, accidental life is NOTHING like winning the lottery.
