I was just like you average atheist/skeptic before i found out God truly exists. The difference is i wasn't as ignorant as most of you guys to go around promoting atheism as a fact, when in fact, you don't know God doesn't exist for a fact, you just suppose. I definitely didn't go around making poker account names called burn bibles and i respected the beliefs of Christians even though i did not believe them myself to be true at the time. I know it may be harder since Christians can refrain from calling an atheist dumb or something after every post they make for some reason, i really don't see how that stops you from realizing how ignorant you are.

Regardless, i may be down for a well, if there are promises it won't turn into a flame fest.

I think we could probably keep it on track and keep the flaming to a minimum. Talking about what made you convert from am atheist to a catholic would be a great start

Exactly i was agnostic, just like how most of the "atheists" on this forum are.

I did not believe God existed. But the belief that He could exist was not totally absent. You guys can't have it both ways. If i was never a "true" atheist, neither are most of you.

An agnostic is not someone who says they don't know whether or not there is a god. Plenty of atheists fit into that category.

I think that we should do some sort of contest. I always see these other forums doing contests. The price could be a custom under title.

What does everyone think? Any ideas on a competition that both atheists and theists could compete in?

Actually i have turned down bets regarding my faith many times, even when i am 100% sure i can prove the other wrong. I won't put money on my faith like that. I will however accept money for answering questions, especially since a large % of these questions will probably be outside of my beliefs in God.
