Submit to God and you'll see your subjective arguments like "people don't like to be conquered" really mean people want to subsist in sin and resist God.
I made a qualified statement that you seem to have disregarded. I said they don't like being conquered by the sword. I don't think God likes conquering them either.

A lot of people lead with the OT even today. They forget we're in a new time and a new covenant and that was made possible by Jesus on the Cross.

Why would you compare the salvation of the world to a domestic situation?

They're totally different in their scope and the importance of their outcomes.

Not really. I would think an omnipotent God could come up with a better idea than beating the **** out of nonconformists.

Well my overall point is that you're using circular ( surprise surprise) reasoning to judge whether or not another religion comes from God. Your assumption is that God has the essential disposition espoused by Christians and the find that other religions, surprise surprise, don't measure up to those assumptions and therefore don't come from God.

Other religions have perfectly coherent ideas of the disposition of God and how God interacts with this world and employ similar circular reasoning to dismiss the Christian religion.

So I have been helping out with charities on my spare time donating money and unwanted goods in my house like a tv etc..

Also been visting a family member who beat cancer.

Point is I don't feel good about it in fact I feel like a sucker. I do these things because I guess thats what's expected of me.

You're made in the image of God. You don't think that prompts you at all?

Life can be very fulfilling without god. Like when a hot chick is giving you an incredible blowjob....(Unless of course you start screaming "oh, god!", which would involve god, wouldn't it?)

Considering that you know Mr Muck McFold is an atheist, do you believe this to be a useful question?

so don't visit your family if you do not want to.

you're allowed to be totally self-centered in life if you want, as long as you won't expect your friends and family to reach out to you in a time of need.

i'm sure you've heard the song "lean on me."

life is a lot easier if you can lean on others sometimes and let them lean on you.

Isn't there a difference between meaning and purpose?

You like studying claims.

What if God has a prior claim on you that you've overlooked?

I've found zero empirical evidence to suggest such a claim (the same is true of everyone else as well).

Empirical evidence may not be so empirical.
