I realize this is kind of a lame OP, but I don't want to say much to bias people's answers. How much money to do you think Sam Harris makes on average per year?

His cash-flow is tied to God's cash-flow so as long as God is earning money, he will continue to.

Having a guess at the amount would be without point, as I have no interest in it. So peak my interest first, and I might participate.

It is likely rather uneven year to year. I presume most of the money comes from his books but some are much much bigger than others I suspect

Or even pique his interest.

What ever Sam makes, he's worth every penny. He's doing the lord's work and, god willing, he makes millions.

I don't even know how much (or exactly what) Sam Harris does in a year to take a guess.

During the rise of the KKK in the USA, I'm sure of the millions of so called Christians whom were members of the clan, that some thought that not all blacks are bad people, and that the radical ones are the problems.

As someone firmly in the pro-Islam camp (in the sense that I think demagoguery against Muslims and islamophobia is too high in the west and leads to bad outcomes), I have to say that Thekid truly is the absolutely worst advocate for this camp it is possible to imagine. Reading his posts just makes me want to start quoting the worst passages of the Koran at him.

Too far? No. I just find them laughably silly. Like you literally jumped from "how much does sam harris make" to the KKK in two sentences. We may well have a lot of agreement on the question of islam, but you are a terrible advocate for the cause you have undertaken and it is precisely because of comments like the ones ITT. I suspect you are more likely to push people AWAY from your views than towards them, just based on the poor quality of your arguments and posting style. Your first post itt, as well as the above post, is basically nothing but a personal insult geared toward another poster. The foul language you use and have used toward me should be used toward Neo Nazis, KKK folks, those who believe that Jews and or Muslims need a reformation.


Folks like Sam Harris and Ayaan Hirsi Ali suggest that their are some problems with Islam and that Islam needs a reformation, I feel this is a disastrous approach and will lead to more division then peace.

I say he clears a million a year. There's big money in the speech and lecture circuit.

My guess is more like a half mil average, but I might be underestimating how many of his events he is paid for. A lot of his debates are for free in order to increase his brand and sell his books where the real money comes from my guess.
