Thats right, a law on the books in Washington makes it not a felony for a parent to watch their child die in front of them if they "are furnished Christian Science treatment by a duly accredited Christian Science practitioner in lieu of medical care."

One of the weirder parts about this is I have always placed Washington near the top of the more progressive states in the Union

Lucky we have religion for moral guidance, I mean I think it's pretty awful to watch your child die instead of using medicine that could save them but as a Godless atheist obviously I don't understand right from wrong.
