If we take evolution as a fact aren't we guilty of making slaves of and eating our equals (when directed towards animals)?

Knowing we can spend time and technology evolving species to our 'level' isn't it really just suppression that we don't?

Is there scientific justification to this or is it just religious?

Maybe something simple I haven't thought of.

The idea that extant organisms are on an evolutionary 'lower' level from which we can 'evolve' them is about 100 years out of date. It is contradicts your first point about other organisms being equal.

Congrats on another terribly ill-informed and non-sensical thread topic.

Is it that you agree with what I am pointing at Augie, but you feel there is no responsibility to free our fellow beings, or am I missing the justification?

Surely there is a NE-solution for this? Preferrably containing the terms "Blonde", "Adam Smith", "getting laid" and "Gentlemen".

My general premise is you are addicted to conflict and resist peace.

Do plants count as beings?

Because if so i see no way to free our fellow beings without letting ourselves starve to death.

I do this by eating plants and things that eat plans. It's all just energy conversion processes anyway.

The circle of life.

But really you are eating the big bang since our sun is just a product of it.

If you are asking if I practice what I am suggesting the answer is no I am guilty of such hypocracy.

How do we morally justify caging animals but not humans then? Same with eating? What is the logical root of this basic belief?

The vedic traditions agree with you and that none of those things are ever really separate. Which is interesting since they predate history.

How do you justify a difference between animals and plants? They evolved from the the same source right? How are they spiritually different so you can eat one but not the other?

This isn't really a logical answer that deals with the question is it. Maybe its a silly question, because there is a simple answer _____?

For example if someone says 'I cage Africans because I feel like it', someone else might come by and suggest there is or moral basis for continuing to do so.

Well if noting is separate it means im just eating myself. Which means it cant really be called slavery. Slavery indicates a separate being.

Not in the slightest. But that's because the original question doesn't merit a serious answer.

Then why abolish human slavery, especially and not animal slavery?

There is no such thing as slavery in your line of thought. Or there shouldn't be.
