Are Certain Atheists Running A Political Agenda in this Forum Are Certain Atheists Running A Political Agenda in this Forum

....or are they just being childish?

I ask because the children seem to be posting in the only TWO THREADS on Two Plus Two that belong to Christian theists though there are a lot of theists playing in the poker world.

Is this a poker forum or is this an atheist forum?

If 2+2 is an exclusively atheist forum then they need to announce it because right now theists are being treated like this is an exclusively atheist forum and not a players forum.

The Germans have their forum.

The psychologists have their forum.

The science and the philosophers have their forum.

And the theists can't even have TWO THREADS for the brats on here running amok?

I'm not sure what specific problems you're talking about and if people behave uncivil I think there should be consequences.

But shouldn't talking about religion, god and theology also contain discussion about not believing? Or should every thread be about how awesome god is?

A typical goal of an activist posting campaign is to maintain control of the conversation, to either get your own message out or at least keep the other guys from accomplishing anything productive.

And coordinate your spam with prefab audio-visual helpers, e.g. YouTube propaganda kitsch.

That said, the jury is still out on the real reason this forum is so heavily trolled and persistently OP'd with sophomoric atheist investigations into the minutia of something they don't believe.

The problem is some people aren't mature enough to handle the more difficult questions of religion.

Most people are fine pointing fingers at everyone else but the real work is in self examination.

There are all sorts of people that can maturely handle the dialog regardless of the label: theist, agnostic or atheist then there are tons of people that can't and we seem to have tons of the second category posting night and day in this forum.

There are tards on both sides.

I might agree with you if you were making a case for a higher quality of discussion.

This isn't a theist forum, it's a forum to discuss religion.

this is a forum for discussing religion. this isn't a Christians-only forum. I don't understand why theists think that because religion is in the title of the forum that atheists shouldn't be allowed to post.

Political agenda? Most definitely not

I post on this forum to kill time. To call what the "atheists" on this forum are doing a "political agenda" is completely delusional and paranoid.

I make it a point to not post in the prayers thread (and I don't know which second thread you're referring to).

I think it's perfectly reasonable to have a thread for believers only, if believers want it, and non-believers should respect that space.

If someone finds a post in the prayers thread so troublesome that they need to address it, they could just start a new thread about it and leave the prayers thread as is.

But no, atheist posters not respecting the theist-only threads isn't some grand political agenda.

You're probably right. Its just the juvenile delinquents acting like juvenile delinquents.
