My name is James (broken_jia on Stars and FTP) and am primary an Omaha 8 player. I've played this game since 2007 and have moved my way up from the micro 18 man SNGs to the midstakes and the weekly $215s.

During my poker career, I have been on both sides of the staking business. I have been backed several times during the earlier days and have since backed two other O8 players, so I have a good understanding of how everything should work.

Presently, one of my former horses and I have teamed up to back another O8 player. The stake has been running since December 2012 and has been going well. We're looking to expand our stable of 1.

The stake will consist of SNGs and/or MTTs with buyins being based on your experience in the game.

2. Screen name for each site you have played on
3. Skype name.
4. Any references you have
5. Omaha 8 experience and the stakes you wish to be staked for
6. Other game experience (NLHoldem/PLO/HORSE,etc) and stakes you wish to be staked for in those (If applicable)
7. Amount of free time available per week
8. Brief poker history
9. Why you want to be staked
10. Any other information you think is relevant.

Re coaching in this thread and the staking forum in general.
Everyone should read rule 8 in the staking stickied rules.

Only accredited coaches can offer active coaching.

Otherwise my grandmother would offer to coach if she thought it could snag the better applicants.
Fielding complaints from those who were promised coaching got tiresome.

Have sessions, reviews, etc. - no 'coaching'.

what sort of levels are you looking at? pm me please

We should be able to handle most buyins, it should be a level you've been successful at in the past. $530 might be a tad too high though, haha.
