Re: #1 FT $2 SNG player lookin for a Porterhouse Stake-R

FWIW name and address is standard operating procedure afaik. Backers usually ask for account passwords as well. Several of my freinds have been backed through 2+2 and all gave name and address phone number and account password of account being backed lol im pretty sure in SOP

well account password is only a semi-standard procedure. not everyone asks for it, and not everyone who already has a roll accepts to give it out. If however you have no BR then it really isn't a problem.

As I wrote in the staking advice thread, very little of this is 'standard' but declining to provide real name, phone number, account info, location will certainly limit the amount of stakes available to you.

FWIW I have only asked for a stakee's account info once, and I have also staked people long term without knowing more than their first name and city from pokerstars. Nearly everything in a staking deal can be personalized to the backer/horse's liking.

The reason I don't feel comfertable giving out my home address is because I have seen other staking threads where the Staker will just randomly accept people for a certin tournament and won't go through the trouble of collecting information etc. but I guess for what you would want is a long term deal with someone you would feel more comfertable needing that, but you should also see that from the other perspective from someone else who is new at it.

No offense taken and hope you don't feel the same but you should have pardoned my misunderstanding in a better way.
this just shows how naive you are. its my money in the account and it doesnt matter how much is in there. taking such a passive approach to staking just causes problems down the road.

lol

Wasn't trying to be naive/ignorant to the fact that it's your money, I understand that... but like I said im new to how staking works per staker / the amount of security they require . I respect your wishes for staking someone and I don't want to argue anymore =)
