My name is Jake, and I just started playing poker again in the beginning of February after not playing since Black Friday.

I'm playing on Bovada. Here are my results so far:



Why I want a stake and coaching?

I want to play for a living. I want a mutually beneficial relationship with someone where I learn how to beat my current games and move up to higher stakes, and of course, make a profit for my staker.

My financial situation is such that I don't have the finances to straight up pay a coach.

I can put in about 40k hands per month on the conservative side.

My Life Situation

I graduated college last May with a bachelor's in Entrepreneurship. I moved across the country to do my own thing and started freelance writing as a job, which went very well.

Now, I found out that playing online in the U.S. really is a viable option, and poker is something that I used to love, and it actually made me excited to get out of bed and work on my game. I love the competitiveness.

I'm single, 24 years old and have no real responsibilities other than paying my bills. My goal is to be making enough money from poker both to support myself and to start investing into other passive income streams to support an ideal standard of living for myself.

I'd like to start at 100nl, and move up through the stakes as quickly as my perceived skill and bankroll dictate.

This is my #1 priority right now.
