Hey guys, what I'm looking for is a stake to play in the Festa Al Lago at Bellagio next month on one or two days. The days I will be in town are for these two tourneys:

Tue. Oct. 7, 2008 No Limit Hold'em 12 p.m. $2,000 + $100*
Wed. Oct. 8, 2008 No Limit Hold'em 12 p.m. $2,500 + $120*

My strat posts here will mostly be in the heads up nl forum, and previously in the omaha section. I just completed an mtt stake deal with a previous backer from 2p2 who I'm sure would vouch for me, and I can provide other references as required for my credibility and honesty.

Since I know it's very high-varience for anyone to stake me for one or two tournaments, I'd be willing to offer a higher percentage than normal, but that's something that we can discuss.

My username on Stars is bdcfcp, and though I don't play many tournaments, in a sharkscope advanced search I show 141 tourneys at the 180mans with an roi% of 122. From results of previous years from the Festa, that's about the size I expect these two tournaments to be as well, that's why I picked them.

Live LHE/NLHE Player Considering Stake For Online Play

I have been playing LHE and NLHE for several years, exclusively live. I'm currently looking to make a transition to online play, preferably for LHE, as I feel it is my stronger game. I have signed up on Full Tilt Poker through RakeTheRake, and before I make an initial deposit to begin playing on my own, I figured I would make a post to gauge interest in a staking arrangement.

While I don't have any online stats, I have spent many hours watching/datamining online games, and feel that my transition would be a smooth one. I do have a spreadsheet with detailed stats for 400+ hours of live play over the past 16 months, which is available upon request. It contains stats for play from 4/8 LHE - 20/40 LHE, and 1/2 NLHE - 5/10 NLHE, although the majority of my play has been 10/20 LHE and 1/2 NLHE.

I'm looking for a stake for 2/4-5/10 LHE online. I'm willing to offer 50/50 split on all earnings from play and 60/40 (in my favor) split on all rakeback (27%, like everyone else). I am also entitled to the $600 deposit bonus, but that would require using a regular deposit. I am willing to offer a 50/50 split on the deposit bonus, but I'd imagine most stakers would prefer to make a player-to-player transfer, which would not make us eligible for the bonus.

If you're interested, or would like to discuss some options, please feel free to PM me. I am looking to play 50-60K hands per month, and I'm looking for a staking arrangement for 100-200K hands. I would also entertain the option of a 5K-10K hand "review", if a potential backer is more comfortable with that before entering into a longer term arrangement.

I plan to deposit within a week or so should I be unable to find a suitable arrangement. I'd prefer to find someone who is a winning online LHE 6-max player, and is willing to include some form of coaching or session review in the staking deal. In reality, I'm making this post more as a way to learn and get better that out of financial necessity.

Squawkident, if you will forgive me offering some advice: on-line is very different to live. In particular, you need to get used to multi-tabling. I would suggest depositing the $600,and use it to start grinding 50nl. Plan to play 50k hands in a month, starting with 1 table and gradually increasing to 4. For most of us, 8 tables is the max you can manage at cash and maintain sufficient reads.

The move up to 100nl and assuming profitability is good, 200nl/400nl/600nl then 1knl, with a minimum of 50k hands at each. On-line is vvvvvvv different, and perhaps it doesn't go without saying, but 200nl online is probably played at the same skill level as 10/20nl live.

Because you can multitable, you can make much more money on-line, at less risk, on any given bankroll.

Ok guys i'm looking for a stake for all NLHE freezeouts 109 through 320 on FTP and PS. 100 tourney minimum and 60/40 for the backer. I'll probably be playing an average of 6-7 per day.

I have 8 5-figure scores on my resume, including multiple wins in the 100r on stars and a sunday million final table. The 100r is not a tourney i am looking to get staked in at this time however.

I'm sure i could dig up some references if asked. I have HEM and a spreadsheet to keep track of my MTT play..i guess OPR can be used too.

I'm looking to be staked for $50+ MTTS here are my OPR stats the top 1 is full tilt which i haven't been there very long and the bottom 1 is pokerstars which i have been playing there on a regular basis since the beginning of the year.

I am primarily a ring game player but I played some MTTs mostly in 2007, and some S&Gs (I got 1st place on the Mercury high orbit leaderboard 5 out of the 7 times I tried).

Relevant to the HORSE, I have gotten 1st place in both Razz and Stud H/L MTTs and 2nd in Stud H/L and O8 MTTs. I also have 2 final tables in micro HORSE events with 400+ player fields.

I feel Stud H/L is my strongest game as I played it for 5+ years in the Indian reservations before Hold'em was popular.
