Same here, backed out in the last minute....

Hate to state the obvious ,but he has really gone for a home run on this one.

He knew he had a decent ish rep on 2+2,so he started a thread in the MP to get investors for a fund.But his plan all along must have been to scam the lot of you.All he needed to do was sell this to 5-10 guys at $5k+ a head and he could be making up to $50k+ , with no sweat at all.

Drawing the money out of Stars could of been a problem,if your account is not to active and someone sends you say $25k PS would not let you just cash the money out.

But he asked me and i'm guessing others to trade Moneybookers etc for PS dollars.

The whole Nick Rainey BS got so much attention here on 2+2 ,this is like 100x worst what this guy has done and doesn't seem to be getting much attention,weird imo.

Above is just my thoughts ,I did not get scammed by this guy .But thought I would add my thoughts as he did try and scam me with an offer into this fund/scam and he tried to trade some of the above victims money with me.

(Just another thought ,from what people are saying it looks like he is using a few accounts on PS.Maybe a long shot ,but try contacting PS about this ,maybe they could freeze his account and help you guys out.If he is using loads of accounts ,PS will not let him draw your money out that easy)

Bout as sure as you can get. He, himself, listed it on PocketFives as his account. Then erased it. Luckily, PocketFives has a feature that shows any account added and erased.

Also, same stakes played firms up other evidence.

he's def chilli1231 cause that's the account i was staking him under. don't know about the other one though.

The other one is his gf account, that he uses as well.

He used to live at my house in Vegas. He wanted to do business with me, but we were never able to come to an agreement. I needed full control of the money and business. He wasn't into that. He asked me for references, and I didn't know how to approach it. At the time he had not cheated me, but I hesitate to give any references for something like this. He did pay rent, and he was always grinding. So this is what I told one person. I ignored the rest of the reference requests. I didn't want to be involved.

He deleted me and everyone I know from fb. His profile picture is still him kissing the girl from Australia. Dunno if that means anything at all, but it was my understanding he blames this on her stealing the money. If I was innocent and she was to blame, I would have not deleted people who could help me, and would have at the very least changed my profile picture to something other than me giving affection to the girl who has ripped me off and destroyed my reputation.

I never got the impression that his goal was premeditated scamming, but never felt his plan was solid enough either. He nearly got a couple of the guys here to invest.

Let me know if I can help with anything. I am happy to answer any questions about the time he lived at the house. He lived here from mid Sept - end of March.

Has anyone contacted Stars to let them know what he's doing as far as multiaccounting etc?

Just wanted to say I've been in contact with everyone and will be working out a payment plan to get the money paid back.

I'm not multi accounting. Most the games we play we don't play at the same time and haven't only very rarely.

Just want you all to know, that the Krisstalball account belongs to me and I am the only person who plays on this account. He has never and will never play on my account. Just because I happen to play the same stakes doesnt mean anything. Millions of other players play the same stakes too.

Nate, You don't owe me any money. Maybe you don't owe me anything, but I was hoping you would at least have the respect to get back to me. You have involved me and my friends in this. I contacted you via 2p2 and AIM, and I have heard nothing back.

I talked to Nathan earlier today, and he seems to be on the right track atm. It seems legit that he is still living at the same place in Oz despite the what is going on with the girl. Is it really so hard to believe that she didn't kick him out in a foreign country with no one else to turn to?

It seems as if he is trying to make things right, and he has a long road ahead. The best anyone can do at this point is to stay informed. It doesn't help any investor get repaid by perpetuating tension. The money is what is important, so save your stones for now.

Talking to him today, he seems humbled and ready to make it right. Lets give him a chance to do that. It is what is best for everyone. He has a small BR to get grinding. One thing I can say about him is that he grinding a ton before. He can do it again. If he fails, then I don't know. I hope for the investors sake that he is able to put forth the effort and pull together some funds.

Sounds like he has told you what he told me weeks ago but then only keeps in contact when hes forced to. To say hes on the right track is far from the truth, he still continues to lie and hasnt been open anywhere to what he plans to do. He will just brush you off and say what ever he thinks will make you leave him alone

It was the first I spoke to him, and I was happy to have any contact at all. If he continues to show no progress, then those would be the facts. If he has been spouting the same story for weeks, then those are the facts. This isn't going to be an instant fix, so I hope no one is expecting any payment any time soon. It is my understanding that he is grinding low stakes and trying to build up to buy a plane ticket home. That could easily take him 1-2 months right there. The added stress is probably hurting his game and roi.

I can provide an audit for the people that have invested. I can probably continue to do so.

I think investors and Nate should make a public statement here of plans and expectations. The goal for investors should be to get paid back as much as possible, as soon as possible. (Perhaps the full amount + interest). The goal for Nate should be to regain a little reputation back. I doubt he is looking to pal around with anyone once he pays it back, and I doubt he thinks he will be readily accepted back to the community. The goal for the community should be to inform people, and prevent this kind of thing in the future the best we can. There will be a new scam popping up as long as there is money to be made. We have to be proactive.

Maybe I am a gullible fool. Maybe Nate is smoking blunts rolled out of hundred dollar bills laughing at me when he types. If this is true, all we can do is wait and act accordingly. If anyone gets fooled again by Nate, then we will have done our part to stop it.

I am not going to defend him anymore. I am in wait and see mode. I am optimistic now, but I will have a better idea how I feel in a week or two.
