I had an email from laddies as follows...
Quote:
Hello ***, your Account ID is: ***
There are some changes occurring at Ladbrokes Poker - which means that on the 10th of February 2009 your poker account will be changed from US Dollars to your chosen local currency.* Your local currency is the one that you selected upon registering with Ladbrokes. This means that at that point any funds you hold will be converted from US Dollars - into that local currency. The exchange rate that is current at the time will be applied.
This is due to the fact that Ladbrokes Poker will be offering tables in more currencies from February 10th - and we wish to ensure that only one exchange rate is applied should you wish to sit at a table in any of the currencies which will be on offer. The conversion into the table currency (US Dollars or Euro) will be applied when you sit at a cash table or buy into a tournament - at the exchange rate at that time.

Im grumbling about this because I dont think its fair that my money should be converted without my permission. As it happens the dollar is currently weakening against sterling, so Id rather wait for a better time for currency conversion to occur - in other words...Im losing money on the deal! Any thoughts on this?
