Review of Eurolinx

How are their games? They have a $500-1000 deposit bonus and apparently you only have to play 7000 hands to clear it -- is this legit and really that easy to clear? And anybody have problems getting money in/out?

Re: Review of Eurolinx

7000 hands?
It depends on the stacks you play.
You should play 14*X raked hands to clear it (X=money you deposit), so 14k raked hands to get 1k$.
Playing at NL50 6max, in my experience, that means around 6*14k = 84k hands!!!

Of course you can claim less money, but you nedd to activate bonus just for that amount, because they only pay the whole amount.

Re: Review of Eurolinx

that many hands? on their site it says:

Deposit $500, get a $500 bonus.

Make your first deposit at Eurolinx and get a 100% first deposit bonus up to $500.

To earn your bonus, play 14 times the bonus amount in raked hands*. You can see your raked hands by going to My Account in the poker software, then clicking on View my raked hands. Once the bonus is earned, you can claim it by sending an e-mail to support@eurolinx.com with subject line FIRSTDEPOSIT. The bonus will be in your account within 24 hours. You will have 60 days from the time of the deposit to clear the bonus.

For a $500 bonus, play 7000 raked hands. For a $10 bonus, play 140 raked hands.

*A raked hand is a hand in which a player is dealt cards and the pot has been raked at least $0.25.

Re: Review of Eurolinx

Yep, it's all about what a raked hand is.
Playing at NL50 you will have 1 raked hand every 6 hands, on avarege, at 6max table. If you play higher stakes, I think this value will drop significantly.
I got this result on a sample of something like 100k hands at NL50,

Re: Review of Eurolinx

Just checked my PT and at NL50 I have 7,742 hands on MGS (eurolinx is on MGS network) and 1,926 of those hands were raked $.25, so that's about 1 raked hand out of every 4. At NL100 I have 8,678 hands and 2979 were raked, so that's a little better than 1 in 3.

God, remember when party had 5x raked hands signup and monthly 10x bonuses. Now 14x looks good.

to me eurolinx is like that one restaurant that you absolutely love no matter what and you really want everyone else to eat and hang out there, but you're afraid it'll get overrun with regulars then not be as fun anymore

This is about the nicest thing I've ever heard about a poker site. Thanks!

Re: Review of Eurolinx

i don't want to start a new thread so i'll ask here...how does a VIP program or whatever compare to usual rakeback, and can I basically get rakeback at eurolinx by signing up at various affiliates? If so, how does getting my money differ from other sites, where say the affiliate transfers to your account at the start of the next month or whatever. Thanks,

Pete
