You are so lucky. I had excruciatingly painful ones in my late teens/early 20s, but now I lose half my field of vision for an hour followed by a day of blurry sight, and extreme nausea. Almost no real pain. I consider myself very, very, fortunate.

All the household zinc cleaned up. Only another couple hours of scrubbing it out of clothes, sheets, etc!

Srsly, gfy. I was downstairs washing dishes while she was upstairs playing in her room with Daddy just across the hall lying in bed/using the main washroom and not properly closing the door.
I don't accept incompetence, and I certainly don't accept blame for other's incompetence. And I. ****ing. Hate. this social norm that men are useless POS that you have to mind and micromanage. It is a goddamn gift that I didn't make HIM scrub the walls and just throw out the bedclothes and spend several hundred dollars on new stuff --while I give him a lecture on safety.

He is appropriately grateful that I am cleaning it up, and handling the doctor and poison control calls.

Also, I don't take parenting advice from part-timers. Why don't you and your gf give 24/7 a try before you mistakenly presume you know anything about it again.
