If you love it, tho...is dry walling the bar wall an option? Maybe I just don't have your whole vision, or different strokes, or something...

But the diagonal is hideous.

So you don't like the diagonal? Maybe I over did the wood grain but I like the stainless and wood look. I'm thinking of adding corrugated galvanized steel to the corner behind the fire place.

These terrorists are so selfish. Thanks to their shenanigans The Chase has been cancelled and the news is on instead.

Sorry, I thought I'd been a vocal dissenter. Wasn't trying to drop kick you with rude.

It feels outdated. Vertical or horizontal might have felt slightly less so. I like the wood and stainless contrast idea, but I really can't imagine those two specific choices--untreated, diagonal, beveled, country pine and stainless countertop. Maybe it'll be awesome, and I will eat my words that it is a mismatch.

By the sounds of it, it was just one dude. He was running people over with his car and then stabbed a policeman.

Sounds like a typical day here in Chicago!

Spoiler:
sorry for your loss

Crikey this seems like a bad day in London, has anyone seen the Crown Jewels? Maybe it was a distraction to steal them.

You have been, I just figured with a little more definition with the surrounds you'd be a convert... I'll keep trying, I let the bar top slip from my get it done list so nothing has moved I need a 12' straight counter bar. Not the easiest thing to procure... specifically if I want it a nice grade of steel, can't have that cheap chinky ****.

I'm interested to see what you think after a year or so. I like the look of industrial countertops...but I wonder if the scratches and wear would drive you nuts.
03-22-2017 , 03:32 PM
the hope is that industrial countertops will remain in style for hundreds of years
03-22-2017 , 03:36 PM
If we were working by your standard the answer is soapstone.
03-22-2017 , 03:49 PM
I we'll see, I considered putting some kind of circled grinder finish so I could just fix it up in the event of a scratch
03-22-2017 , 04:00 PM
I really want to eat the foods.
